We’re Not Going to Do Nothing

Teacher: Pastor Chris Alford
Series: Sunday Teaching
Passage: Gen 1; Gen 11; Romans 18:18-32; 2 Pet 1:4-8; 2 Cor :18-21
Service Type: Trinity Sunday

Pastor Chris spoke about a temptation to panic in the wake of the wide range of events in our nation. Should Christians be asking "How can we make a better world?" or is there a better, New Testament-mindset question to ask? He ended with three biblical passages that remind us of our purpose and calling in this world. Join us for a compelling, hopeful, message about our current state of conditions that has roots that go back to the Garden, to the Tower of Babel, and to Pentecost.

The articles he mentioned are here, and here.

Topics: Ambassadors, changing the world, doing nothing, Father Stephen Freeman, image bearers, living the commandments, Matt B. Redmon, Modernity, Panic, partakers in the Divine Nature, Racism, Trinity Sunday, Violence
