Reading Group: The Screwtape Letters

Whether you’ve never read it, or have done so many times, we’re going to explore it again together. It’s an all-time Christian classic by one of the greatest, C.S. Lewis.
“The Screwtape Letters is a satirical novel, presented as a series of 27 short letters from the demon Screwtape to his demon nephew Wormwood, offering darkly humorous advice on how to corrupt a human soul and lead it to damnation. Through Screwtape’s evil tactics, Lewis explores themes of temptation, free will, and the spiritual battle between good and evil. “
We’re planning on three Monday nights/sessions: February 23, March 2, and March 9. Each gathering will be at the Chapter House beginning at 7 PM.
First assignment before February 23: Read the first 9 letters (they’re short!). See you then!
