How does a godly man respond to dreadful circumstances? We should look at Joseph. You’d be hard pressed to come up with a godly man who had more dreadful circumstances to deal with. It seems like just as soon as the Son of God is born and worshipped by the visiting magi, evil threatens. That cozy scene of the Christmas manger draws to a close, and an angel appears to Joseph with a disturbing message about his family’s safety.
