If you’re looking for a New Year’s reading opportunity, we’d love you to join us for the monumental, “The Screwtape Letters.”
Whether you’ve never read it, or have done so many times, we’re going to explore it again together. It’s an all-time Christian classic by one of the greatest, C.S. Lewis.
The 3-session series begins on Monday night, February 23, continues on March 2, and will conclude on March 9. The time is 7 PM, and we meet at the Chapter House in Fair Oaks.
Grab a copy of the book. There are many inexpensive sources, and note that the edition you find may not match the cover shown here.
Meanwhile, there are about 30 “letters” (small chapters) in the book, so read about 10 before each gathering for discussion time.
Oops, one more thing: The C.S. Lewis Institute has published a study guide for the “Screwtape Letters” that might be helpful to you. The guide is designed for those new to the book as well as those who have read it many times. Here’s a pdf copy for you.
Alrighty, dig in, read, and enjoy!
