Facing the Sun

Jesus gets into some trouble in His hometown synagogue. Well, not at first. At first, things seemed to be going quite well: Jesus read the Scripture appointed for the day, and Luke's Gospel account tells us that all spoke well of Him. There's another curious phrase in the passage as well: it says that "all eyes were fixed on Him." The "trouble" for Jesus starts after He reads the Scripture and begins to teach. So what might the encounter in the synagogue, Jesus' teaching, and the people's response have to do with sunflowers? Join us!
